Expect is probably not the greatest term (although it applies depending on where you go). On this forum (and a couple other), I should say "irrationally hoping for"

I'm being serious. I can't make this stuff up. SOME people are sensible and know it's going to be crap...others, either they're pretending or they have shitty taste (well, they did buy Wiis, so there you go).

I expect Sonic Wii to be the best 3D Sonic ever, even if it's TNL uncool to say so.
And while that Q1 lineup doesn't interest me, there are a number of decent games in there (SSX, Medal of Honor, etc.) The Wii is even getting crime games like Driver and The Godfather, which is a good sign after the Gamecube.

Those are ports of games over a year old! It's not a sign of anything good if that makes up a big chunk of your lineup. Let's not forget PoP 2 remake, SSX best-of, Blazing Angels port, Bionicle Hereos port, TW 07 port, Bust-a-Move 82...That leaves, what? A game bundled with a controller, a 3D Sonic game, a TMNT game that'll definitely suck, a Disney game that'll be even worse, and an inferior MoH game. WHAT IN THE HELL. I mean, granted "don't like it, don't play it", but there has to be a line drawn somewhere.

Most of the people I know IRL who want Wiis owned ONLY a Gamecube the last generation. Like my brother, whose daughter had a Gamecube. He was going to get a PS3 but now decided to get a Wii instead because of backwards compatibility. I'm sure he'll be happy to have some real games available on the system. They may be ports, but he doesn't have those other systems.
And I think a crime game could benefit from using the wiimote as a lightgun much like a FPS, if they can figure out how to do it right.

I'm never going to understand this mind set. At best it saves some space, and if he's tired of getting crappy support why does he want yet another nintendo system? Since as of right now the support is a joke, any one who buys medal of honor vanguard has to have some sort of syndrome.
