PH has been confirmed for a early 2007 release not even a month ago. Reggie has said over and over that MP will launch in a few months( March/April) Maybe this rumour only means for the UK. That is where the magazine comes from.

Perrin Kaplan said a couple weeks ago that the game was essentially finished, just getting some polish for it's spring 2007 release. I think these rumors are nonsense; Nintendo doesn't need P3 to be online, it's got a truckload of other marketable online games coming (2 Pokemon games, Smash Brothers, Mario Strikers, Battalion Wars 2, etc.) Online Smash Brothers alone will sell millions of systems.

Yeah, when is SSB coming out anyway? Isn't SSBM the top seller on the Gamecube? You'd think MP3 was further along in development than Smash Bros., so if any games are both coming out around christmas, they'd be SSB and Super Mario Galaxy. I mean, Metroid and Mario might both be higher profile than the Smash Brothers series, but I'm pretty sure that SSB is going to end up outselling both of them. It just seems silly for Nintendo to have all three of their huge titles for next year all coming out within a period of 2 months of each other.

Nintendo always spreads out their games. April will be MP3, July will be Smash Brothers, October will be Mario.

I highly doubt they'll put out a headset, considering how careful they are to eliminate any possibility of a child communicating online.
