I haven't seen much written about the levels themselves. They must be pretty long if there are only 4 "chapters". The subway makes sense after watching the intro. Where else you gonna go after seeing what it took to cross the street?
Oh I don't know. It's just separated into two sections: apartments & subways and there's a loading screen & a safe house between them. So maybe they're not designated "levels" but they seemed pretty separate.

This runs better than I thought it would, judging from the comments on GAF.
GAME RULES BTW.
dear steam servers,
WTF
love, me
It's kind of a mess at the moment. Judging from how quickly Valve responded to the server browser bitching, I don't expect the situation to last for very long.

My new mouse came today, lets see how this works out.
The zombies don't really know what to do but it's still pretty rad that this works with absolutely no modifications to the original map. Custom maps are going to be fun.

I decided to go ahead and grab this now so I could check out the demo. I have to drop the resolution to disgustingly low levels in order to make sure it runs close to 60fps instead of 15-20 (gogo laptop video card), but shit, when this gets going it's fucking sick. My only complaint so far is that the blood doesn't really stick around most of the time, so the aftermath of a massacre tends to look pretty much like it did before anything happened. But hey, the action is intense and that's what really matters here.
