When news broke that he was hospitalized last night, I had made fun of how bad he looked in a recent photograph. Needless to say, I feel like a dick now.
RIP James Brown. The music will live on.
A fun thing we used to do in the office a summer ago is put on James Brown in the background, and watch people as they go about their business... they can't help but move to the music in some way. Try it sometime. Don't bring what's on to their attention, just watch. They can't sit still.
