Is that pic new, or from something else Ford did at some other point in the past?
If it's new, well...I mean, he doesn't look horrible. But Indy's a really physical role. Ford did a lot of his own stunts in the previous movies and a 65 year old man ain't gonna be able to do that shit. This thing's going be like Steven Segal's recent hilarious action movies where he uses blatant stunt men in 97% of every fight scene.
There seems to be a recent trend as of late...it's like Hollywood is discovering that the current crop of young wannabe action stars are all pussies, so they're scrambling to squeeze one last flick out of the aging members of last generation's action stars before they're too old to move. Arnold made T3 at 56, Bruce Willis is shoehorned into an akward attempt at one last Die Hard movie, Stallone is making another Rambo, and now this.

Snapped on the first day of Indy 4 shooting (i.e. yesterday) by Steven Spielberg himself.
Well that's at least a little reassuring.
If this movie sucks, I don't think it will be because Ford is too old.
I can't really agree with that. A lot of young stars do their own stuff if they feel up to the task and sometimes the studios don't let their bigger stars do that shit for insurance reasons. I'd say that the bigger issue is CG use where they are doing crazy stunts that you can't really do in camera. So they can use the actor in the scene but the compositing and stuff looks terrible so the whole point of the effect is ruined.
