Its a covert act to keep attention away from an important area. If you only see 5 guards there, you think, "Hey, this must be a useless waste depot or something." - But when you have an ark of the covenant and an alien body in that warehouse, they could have not been stupid and used some more back-up.
Yah way. There weren't any gophers in normal mode either, and the ending was completely non-cg, they did it all with blue screen and they also never showed the interdimensional alien, only Indiana Jones grizzled face looking at it grizzledly as he decided he didn't want to be there.
I read somewhere that hard mode is completely different, that there are animated mice instead of cg gophers, that he teams up with Elliot from Pete's Dragon instead of Ox, and instead of Marion, they have Daphne from Dragon's Lair, and that Elliot gives Indiana false clues for the puzzles. And also his son is Tony Toponi from An American Tale. It's exciting.

Man, Finch is on some heavy shit.
I am starting to hear "nuke the fridge" used in the same manner as "jump the shark". It's a pretty good term for inserting something retarded and unnecessary. I think it might stick.
Yellerdog just nuked the fridge
Yellerdog's right on this one. Or it could be swing the vine or drop the bike or survive the waterfall and make a stupid face.

Saw this the other night. Wasn't impressed. I'd list out all my complaints, but it's all already been said above.
