I think that's the way they're going with most CG movies now-a-days. Pixar and dreamworks really suck on the script these days.
Only funny thing out of that whole movie was watching Gingerbread shit a gumdrop.
Took my kids (age 7 and 12) to see this film, this afternoon. None of us liked it. VERY dull. No real action, no real humor, no real suspense. Very disappointing.
Very impressive CG , though.

"Your soul better belong to Jesus, mmm-mmmmm..... cause your ass belongs to me!"
Saw this one with my girl and her daughter. Soooooo.... meh! I mean, not bad, but it was lifeless. Totally lifeless. Going through the motions etc.
There were two good jokes in the whole movie and both were visual.Pixar?! I haven't seen them throw in a clunker yet! The increadibles and Cars were fantastic and the CGI had nothing to do with their greatness! Ratatouie looks like another winner.
This one was disappointing, where we loved original and part 2. Pretty much what was said about it.
I didn't like it too much, but there was some silly stuff and a group of cute little kids giggling through the whole thing.
I also must beg to differ on the Pixar comment. Pixar has ALWAYS impressed me. I didn't think I'd like Nemo for example. I did! When I read that Larry the cable guy was playing "Mater" , plus the whole premise, I was sure Cars would be my first Pixar film I didn't like ... but I loved it. (The dirt power-slide scene took my breath away the first viewing ... don't know why but I'm a sucker for "old guy showing what he's got while young hotshot looks on in total awe" scenes).
Shrek the Third ... I think nobody really cared about making this film. It shows.
Save your money and see Ratatouille twice instead.
DieHard is opening today, you should spend your money on that instead.
lol. This movie sucked.
