Usually the Rumble is worth it. The last few years have been solid (maybe even like the last 5). This was not the year to delve in, I guess (aside from Sheamus winning).

I watched it. Can't believe Sheamus actually won it! I thought for sure Jericho was a shoe-in once Orton went over. There were a lot of throwaway goof entrants this year.

Yeah, I figured it was Jericho for a while now... I figured he was going to win and feud with Punk. Looks like I'll get that feud now anyway. Which begs the question of who Sheamus will face on the Smackdown side for Wrestlemania... will it still be Daniel Bryan?

If there weren't such a dearth of star power, maybe there'd be something to post about.

It seems like each year it gets worse and worse. Last year they had it at 40 men and therefore had to have people that had matches earlier come back. I was there live for it though and still thought it was a great Rumble. I wish they stuck to 40 man because honestly, if they felt the need to have Cole and bring back Khali then Curt Hawkins and Trent Baretta certainly deserved a slot in it too!

As mentioned, this was definitely the year that went for more "entertainment" than being a good Rumble. Last year had it's spots with Hornswaggle, but this one was really full of them. I was entertained, I had a group of people over watching that all enjoyed it and we had fun, but it wasn't a good way to start "the road to Wrestlemania."

With all that said, RAW last night was great and really got the ball rolling in so many different ways.

The sock off between Mick and Santino was the highlight of the rumble for me.

Sadly this is what it seems most people have talked about from the Rumble. While "moments" are cool, it shouldn't be the only talk of the show.

BTW, I have an interview with Johnny Gargano tomorrow night and Ricochet on Tuesday... I'll let everyone know once they're up to listen to.

I forgot to post that the Johnny Gargano interview is up on my blog now. He really got into it and it made for a fun interview (which was his first since his injury at EVOLVE 10).

RAW was pretty bad last night. I have zero interest in Triple Heche vs Undertaker. The 6 man main event was bad and it looked like R-Truth killed himself. The Kane storyline is still pretty lame though I wonder if Eve will "embrace the hate" like Cena. Also, why am I seeing Khali on my tv again? Is it because TNA has that new Indian promotion going on so WWE has to put their Indian on tv? He's awful though the slap tag-in's he did to Orton was kinda funny.

I like heel Daniel Bryan.

The show was 90% promos and video packages... The opening HHH promo had 3 video pages IN IT. It was just bad. Eve had her nose broken too and it seems that Miz has a lot of heat on him for not being in place for R-Truth.
