Sweet. I'll check it out one of these days when I have time. I haven't watched wrestling for years but I still enjoy the occasional old match on YouTube. I watched Sgt Slaughter vs Pat Patterson the other day. The first half of the match was typical early 80s stuff but Slaughter blades halfway through and it turns into a bloodbath.

Check out Lucha Underground. Episode 9 onward in season 1 is great. Mil Muertes v Fenix in a casket match is a blast from the past.

I've never seen anyone have heat like John Cena had in that 2nd "ecw" pay per view match with RVD. Holy shit.

I remember that, it was awesome.

Also, I played Wrestlefest today. All were destroyed by the might of Sargeant Slaughter.

He threw his shirt out to the fans 5 times and they threw it back yelling "fuck you" and "die Cena die" each time.

Bonus points for "same old bullshit" and "you can't wrestle" chants.

And I know that WWE owned the ECW brand at the time, but I legit marked out in my living room when an ECW wrestler won the WWE belt in an ECW ring.

Currently watching raw and the ppvs (smackdown eventually) in chronological order starting at the ECW invasion in 97.

I suggest you do the same.

How is it in 2017? I didn't start watching wwf regularly until Jericho jumped ship in 99 or so.
