Genesis is shaping up to be an awesome PPV for TNA - it has Nash in the main event!

I'm not knocking Booker for taking a TNA job if (realistically, when) gets one - I'm just stating that I don't see him drawing any money for them, like the other ex-big league main eventers they've squandered. He'll get a lot of money for less work, which is great for him. A TNA schedule will also allow him to put more time and energy into his school, federation, and other businesses.

So how is AJ Styles used in TNA these days? Remember how awesome it used to be to watch a TNA event and see a lot of cool moves you'd never see in WWE? Christian Cage is the only guy from WWE that I actually enjoyed watching in TNA because he was underutilized and terrific with the mic. Angle's a WWE character through and through because he was fully accomplished there. It took Booker years to get over his "I'm a WCW loser" stigma (and it took a cheesy ass king gimmick to do it).

AJ thanked Pokemon Diamond and Stranglehold when he was presented with his belt - he is fucking awesome. His character is far more entertaining, but his matches have suffered since TNA's shift in direction from being a wrestling company to being a B-rate sports entertainment-filled product.

A vendor's updating folks on WOL about it - headliners were paid half up-front and the rest in checks, which have all been bouncing. Cryme Tyme's car broke down on the way, so they needed to be taken to it by a fan, while Snuka needed a ride to the airport. An AWA battle royal was such a disaster that they just started having guys come in that had gear.

It was an MMA/wrestling show and was a complete disaster - the MMA show had to be cancelled due to a shitty cage Fighters were pissed because they paid to train and wanted to be paid for doing that. Don Frye led the charge, and had an altercation at the show with the bodyguard for the son of Dog the Bounty Hunter. Basically, the bodyguard sucker-punched a drunk Frye, bloodied him, then Don mounted him, punched him, and had to be pulled off. Frye was left with a black eye for the rest of the convention.

Oh, and Brock has signed a 2-year deal with the UFC, eliminating his chances at working in TNA anytime soon. UFC is looking to have him debut at the 2/2 show.
