EDF3. Three out of five stars!
I always preferred the Genesis version of ESWAT over the arcade, but it's still a great game.
I beat Enchanted Arms recently, and it's a lot better than most here (who probably never played it) made it out to be. I did dislike the fact that you could breeze through the game without using any golems, except for when the story took a character away, but had no choice but to grind some at the end. I had to spend around 6 hours just maxing out Atsuma, Raigar, Odin, and Phoenicia just to be able to beat the Ice Queen (who was far harder than the last boss).
Great game overall though.

Just beat Richters game on 360.
Finished Earth Defense Force 2017 on normal. I'm going to go back and beat it on easy and hard now.
Finished SOTN.
Should finish Oblivion this week... don't think I'm going to bother with the Expansion... the game's starting to bore me.

I've seen the Amiga one by US Gold - the graphics show what the arcade game would look like if it got beat with the ugly stick. The color palette is sharply reduced, and it looks disappointing next to some decent ports like R-Type II. Creative Materials (who also savaged Street Fighter II and Final Fight) developed this hackjob.
