19. Mega Man Zero 3 - GBA



Acquired all EX Skills without using any Fusion elves except for a few rank-boosting ones near the end. This game is brutal in the beginning (before you've gotten any good Satellite elves) if you're trying to maintain an A rank. Overall not as hard as Zero 1 or 2. Being able to use Satellite elves without penalty makes all the difference.

I have Zero 4, but I'm thinking I'll take a little time off with ZX before finishing up this series.

Psychonauts - I was late to the party but it was awesome, one of the best 3d platform/adventure games around. I'm looking forward to Brutal Legend even more now. If it's half as creative as this, we're in for a great time.

I beat Super Mario Galaxy before that. There's a good chance it will be my GOTY. I still have a bunch of stars to go and my Wii is at Nintendo being fixed/replaced right now so I'm anxious to get back to it.

i finished CoD 4 on the PC today. as i said in the FPS thread, the mission in the plane and the epilogue were awesome.

Virtua Fighter 5's Quest mode. I'm amazed that fighting this game's AI was as fun for as long as it was. Damn. Really cool credits sequence, too.

20. Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee - Xbox



Perfect Quarma, and goddamn there was some tedious shit involved. If it wasn't for the save anywhere feature, this might be one of the most frustrating games ever made. Still, not nearly as hard as Abe's Oddysee.

I loved the audio in this game. From Munch's squeaky wheelchair to the various sound bites (all voiced by Lorne Lanning according to the credits). Some of the standouts:

"Kick some booty!"

Munch
"You've got to wait here."
"Get 'em."

Mudokons
"Hi, Abe."
"Hey, it's Abe."
"I'm back, and ready to play." (the cutest one of all, happens after resurrection)

I had that RCR EX whatever that came out for GBA (?) a while ago and I had no idea what was going on. That probably had something to do with my dislike of it.
