23. Castlevania: Curse of Darkness - Xbox



The main character (with his ridiculous running animation), story, and music were all well below Lament, but the game overall was still more than passable.

24. Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin - DS



This was maybe my favorite 2D Castleroid yet. I've always been kinda non-plussed by the formula, but getting out of the dank, murky castle, and into new settings worked for me. Plus, I really do love all the little details they put into the enemies and their animations.
