I just can't get excited about the 5S. Maybe it's that the PS4 and VR headsets are coming, but I'm going to have a really hard time dropping the money this fall. I've been playing a lot of Vita recently, which has made my iPhone basically used for reading Twitter on the shitter (does that make excrement sheets?). I suspect the 4S will remain functional for that for quite some time. Maybe they'll have some new feature that will just blow me away, but I'm not holding my breath, and I'm maybe even hoping not.

I subsidize my costs by selling old tech. I got my 4S for $99 after selling my 3GS. Hoping to do similar with my 4S.

Different maker but I sold my broken S3 for enough to make the cost of my S4 only $70.

Sell the old stuff while it still has value. It's like a fucking rpg, every new village sell all your old gear to buy new stuff.
