Oh, they're not all called that? That doesn't change anything, but it's good to know.
I do what I can.
Anyone watch the video? I'm pretty sure the finger print is stored on its own chip and nothing has access to it besides the sensor obviously. I would never use it personally but I can see it being pretty amazing for people that lock their phone with a password and parents.

It stores biometric data that's derived from a sub-epidermal scan. You couldn't actually reconstruct the original scanned image using what's there, or so they would have you believe.
Probably true, and we don't even know how much RAM the 5S will have yet. I think it'll be worthwhile for high end games though and that's really the only reason we need more power anyway.
Early benchmarks look good but not mind blowing, but that's probably more a reflection of Qualcomm and Nvidia's GPU advances than Apple slowing down.

Because those stores need to be even more of a clusterfuck. Maybe they're phasing out tech support?
They have to have in-store support. But if they were smart, they'd eliminate the distinction between "Specialist" and "Genius" by giving all employees the training. That shit is easy whether it's a computer or a phone: can it be fixed by erasing? If not, take it in for service. Then move the repairs to central facilities close to the busy areas or have an off-site for that lone store in South Dakota or wherever.
Anyway, I hope Phil Schiller's friends are continually playing that, "Can't innovate anymore my ass," clip to him over and over again after this latest nonsense.
