Thread: Official Apple Thread

  1. Ipad Air is nice but not worth upgrading from the 4. If I had a 2 or less then yes.

Still only 16gigs for the base model is pretty fucking weak.
    Xbox Live- SamuraiMoogle

  2. I'm going to replace my iPad 3 with either an iPad Mini Retina or iPad Air, just not sure which one yet. The bulk + weight on the iPad 3 is annoying, I'm just not sure I want to go back to having a big tablet since I genuinely do like the size of the iPad Mini. That iPad Air name is a whole bunch of shit though, that thing is not nearly thin enough to get the Air name, I want it to have a razor sharp corner bezel!

Sell the razor and give away the blades.

  4. I upgraded my computer to 8GB of RAM, evidently the stories about OS X wanting lots of RAM are true. It's running way nicer and without the constant disk thrashing. Mail might be usable now!

  5. I had noticed my Macbook Pro (4GB RAM) had slowed down while accessing documents. First my iPhone 4 with iOs 7 and now this. I need to stop upgrading.

Is anyone else noticing more frequent errors with the iOS devices when syncing? My phone seems like it throws up an error about once a week after almost never seeing one for a long time. Sometimes they're my own fault like being so low on storage that it can't sync something. But now I'm getting the sync session failing to start after reboots of both my PC and phone and after clearing all the background apps.

That's not an error, it's a feature. It just works, ok Yoshi?

Happens to me too. Apple isn't the jam anymore.

Updating the OS seems to have resolved it. Speaking of which, the OS updates seem to be much more frequent now too. I suspect that is not a coincidence.

    Are you on Mavericks now?

Have any of you figured out how to lock an app to a specific space? It was so easy in Mountain Lion, and is now a mystery.
