The iPhone did nothing to help the iPods market. Yet they pushed it anyway
How about an iPhone you can use as a wallet? Something more than a bigger screen at least.
Right, they are going to launch the next iPhone with nothing but a bigger screen. Running the same iOS 7 and everything.
Then you can lose your phone AND your credit cards at the same time!
Their focus is on fitness—which is ok? Seems vapid. Their Beats by Dre acquisition could be interesting. The most exciting thing I've read about Apple this year is their focus on Sapphire Glass manufacturing. They could potentially redesign the way screens are produced and felt. But whatevs.
One of the issues I have with iOS is that the home screen is tired and unhelpful. I would be content with seeing some layout improvements made to it.

Even if it is, I would hope Apple would do it a lot better than the garbage dump that has been Samsung's work in that area.
You know what sucks?
Android.
Boo, Hiss.
From what I've seen Fitbit is the biggest and best "health tracking" app. Nike unceremoniously dumped its Fuelband hardware so I wonder if a partnership or some kind of insight in to the market made them pull out.
Android: I really like the way you can customize it—but it's also probably it's biggest negative as well for a lot of people. I found a cool app called Aviate that adapts the desktop based on time-of-day and where you are. If you're at work and use email a lot it will give you file storage apps, email, calendar, etc. If you're out and it's a Thursday or Friday they might give you Uber, Lyft, Yelp or something else to help you plan your night or get around, etc.
http://getaviate.com/ <~ kind of neat. Google Now is similar but with less swank.
