I don't know how people can use mice with less than five buttons.
It drives me nuts if I don't have forward and back buttons, and it blows my mind that there are people that use mice without a scroll-wheel/ball.

It feels clunky for me to use any mouse since I got my Wacom tablet. The pen is a million times easier to use after a day or two of mental re-wiring. None of that pick-up-and-drag crap and no layer of unspeakable gunk building up of the bottom surface. No batteries for the decisive blow.

I've seen a couple video editors that use Wacom tabs for everything. I can totally understand how it is awesome. Perhaps I will try that out at some point.

I never have a problem with pick-up-and-drag. I keep sensitivity at max.

I don't see a need for more than three, for my own use. I like my scroll wheel+button, but anything else doesn't work for me. The mouse I just got has a bunch of extra buttons but I'm leaving them empty.

I don't like em either, they just get in the way imo. I usually just hit back in Firefox or use delete to go back.

Wacom users unite! I love using the tablet. Gives me free reign to do whatever I want. More flexibility.

Couldnt have said anything earlier when I was looking into MB vs MBP? ARGH!

It will take a little getting use to because of the sensitivity but once you use it, you'll love it. I never used it until I started to intern for MAD Magazine. When they first showed me where I was sitting, all I saw was a tablet. They didnt have a mouse laying around and had to find one because the pen was actually missing (I found it eventually in a draw). Never looked back. Went to my current job and wanted to use a tablet to do my work. They didnt have any spares. Once a coworker left, I snagged it.
