This is where it's at. It's not the 80 miles, it's the 60 hour work weeks (that typically end @ either 9 or 10PM), seeing my kid on weekends, her being tied up in school during the week, etc... I really don't see us being able to connect all that often, if at all. If I were 25 with a bullshit job and no kid, I'd go hang out with her every weekend and see what happens. As it is, it's going to be next to impossible to get together. And 1.5 hours commuting into Manhattan is fantasy (+ the fact that I live nearly 120 miles away, the job is 80 miles away). Guess I'm having round 2 of talks in a few minutes.
