And this was kind of my point all along. What difference is 3oz or less of an explosive substance in the main cabin of a plane to a couple pounds underneath? ANY sized explosion can rip apart a pressurized cabin. And to put it in a baggie……does that help contain the blast?

The point of basically any thread started by you is that you're seemingly incapable of conforming your behavior to societal standards without calling the whambulance. You guys got your shit fucked up by security because you treated them poorly, and I'm sure everyone on line behind you appreciated having to wait longer because you were both ignorant and arrogant.

Less than 3oz of something is less likely to cause a catastrophe than more than 3oz of something. And the baggie serves to limit total volume as well as locate all the liquids in one place for easier screening.

Is it stupid? Probably. Is it as stupid as carrying on about it to people who are just doing their jobs, pissing off everyone else, and then whining here? Nope.

if you read and comprehended my original post you would see that i "treated them poorly" AFTER they told me to throw it out, not before. therefore my "treating them poorly" was not the catalyst to them "fucking my shit up" like you seem to carry on about.

Where are you getting the idea we're being protected from a legitimate threat? This whole "no liquids on planes" thing is stupid, pointless, and little more than a visual aid to make it look like we're being protected from the big scary men who want to hurt us. Eek. Oh fucking eek.

It was never a matter of it fitting though, and a matter of following protocol, which is going to be a bigger hassle in the end anyway.

I'm not sure of the answer to this so it's a serious question, not sarcastic. How do the airlines dispose of the liquids they confiscate? You've got a pint of milk, say, and the airline confiscates it. What happens to it?
