Sony went from being a company that made shit for games before the PSX to being a software powerhouse. Why? Because the PlayStation needed software, so they did what they had to do.
Microsoft, on the other hand, did have some decent games under their belt before the Xbox hit, not to mention the money to set up as many new development teams as they needed. How much Japan-targeted software has Microsoft worked to develope? Exactly. They aren't even trying, and it's pathetic. If they watned to, they could.

Uh, no, I'm pretty sure Japan never said that about the Xbox library, because in no way was that the case.
As well, while they certainly did a better job with the 360, it still is in no way Apple-looking. It's still a trademark "you can tell they tried, but just don't understand" MS product.
