I had that MP3 player. It broke in about four months.![]()
You dumb assholes.
As long as your files are tagged PROPERLY itunes won't change shit. Download it and try it. I was against it until I realized that it is the best way around to organize your mp3 collection.
iTunes only renames the files when it transfers them to your iPod--it doesn't change anything about the copies you have on your computer's hard drive. Basically, instead of pulling over the same file organization you have on your computer's hard drive, iTunes organizes (again, just on your iPod) the files all in one folder, with four or five character filenames.I agree with this. I was very against using iTunes back in the day, largely because a lot of my stuff was downloaded and had inconsistent ID3 tagging (many of the files had none whatsoever). iTunes doesn't work well if your files don't have ID3 tagging. But I've since cleaned my MP3 collection to include only full albums I've ripped myself or gotten from friends. After getting my ID3 tags in order (iTunes is great for it), I can't stand not having my collection organized.

Apple and Microsoft are pure shit when it comes to freedom of use.
Creative's zenvision will become your best buddy once you have it. You probably won't be able to play games directly, but you can set aside personal data and use it as a for of portable transportation compared to some overpriced memory stick. It's also got the best sound quality and quite a few rewards behind it.
As for that break in under a year deal, don't be stupid and go without running an extended warranty under it. Do a little research and find out where you want to get it.
