Thread: Dexter

  1. Could have sworn I saw MOS on the credits this past episode.

  2. In the first episode of the season, it was Mos. After that it was changed over to Yasiin Bey.

It makes sense with what happened, I think it could work well. The last scene on the beach was awesome.

  4. Fuck that.

  5. Rumpy people just have hold-over hatred from the last season.

  6. Nah, this season is pretty bad. It might be entertaining trash, but it's not the kind of taut, suspenseful show it was at its peak.

  7. I guess I just don't see what's so inherently bad about this season. I'm liking the overall theme and if Dexter's going full-on dark mode even better. Kill LaGuerta and/or Quinn.

  8. Every character whose name isn't in the title of the show sucks so horribly that it is almost torture to watch any scene involving them.

  9. Cornball writing, zero suspense, and an utterly awful (and uninteresting) attempt at character development in Dex's religious crisis.

We're halfway into the season, and there's no threat of him getting caught, no tense situations, he's only killed like 2 people... It's just boring. What's good about it?

  10. I think it's an interesting theme for a sociopath to explore.
