Ummmm....Hannah isn't dead.
Yeah, pretty much. Less ridiculous, but more meandering and boring.
Ummmm....Hannah isn't dead.
The only moment when I felt like it was good ol' Dexter was when Deb flipped and said that she was in love with him and I was like YESSS!!! FINALLY!!!! THINGS ARE GONNA GET CRAZY! And then it was completely ignored and there was stupid other shit going on. And yeah, then all of a sudden, some other killer. This is even worse than the Lumen season - and i thought that was pretty bad. I don't know, I can't believe the Doomsday Killer season was followed up by this garbage.
I don't mind the other killer, I like it when new maniacs come around.
Oh yeah, I forgot. Wishful thinking. This is still a meandering mess with no escalation. The one thing Dexter used to be really good at was these great cliffhangers that would always make you want to get to the next episode, and there's none of that this season. I just don't care.

Close. Would have been more interesting.
Finale wasn't bad. It was cool seeing Doakes again, even if the scenes were totally unnecessary. And Laguerta is dead, so that's a bonus, even if it doesn't make sense that she would bring lots of back up the first time, and then stumble in alone the second.
Next season is the last one right?
I hope it's the last one. That season was pretty garbage...finale was good, but we all knew LaGuerta was going to die since like the first episode. I'm assuming Deb or Harrison are going to get killed off in the final season.
Did anyone else catch the Connecticut warning at the beginning? I was all "OOHH MY GOD THEY ARE GOING TO KILL THE KID!!!" but it totally didn't have anything to do with anything except there were guns?
Next season is the last one in Hall's contract, I'm pretty sure he said he's not going to do any more. Interesting set up for next season, not sure what they're going to do with it.
Not to mention she would have been ultra cautious knowing what she knew about Dexter. Maybe her poor standing with the police could have forced her to go solo but it doesn't make sense. The call was for the cuban dude, not Dexter. This show sucking so hard is such a bummer because the concept was phenomenal... and the execution up until season 3 was spot on, too.
What a shame.
