I'm sorry, but if a proper hurricane is hitting Miami, planes aren't flying out of Jacksonville at literally the exact same time.
I'd assume they feel like they've put so much time into it, they might as well see it off. Lost got like that for me.

It's because when people say a show got terrible they usually just mean terrible in comparison to early episodes. Dexter obviously went majorly downhill but it was still entertaining enough to watch.
I guess it depends on what you'd rather do.
I'd rather do a lot more than just sit there and watch TV series. Stuff that isn't necessarily a better use of my time than TV, but just different. So I have no problem dropping a bad show, like The Walking Dead.
I will drop a show if it becomes bad enough. I doubt I'll ever go back to True Blood.

Weeds got legitimate bad. Simpsons is still fun to watch but I recognize it was better in past seasons.
