Black Hawk Down (DVD release today- June 11th)

Amazing, amazing stuff. This stuff is heavy duty... Very good. Definitely leaves an impact on you. Definitely something to rewatch. It's a bit lean on the extras, but the behind the scenes deal is quite interesting.

Awesome film.

Well, I rented it today, but havent watched it yet. I will post my impressions after I do. I'm looking forward this film, and I heard some very good things about it.

Didn't you see it in the theatres?

BTW Metal Slug I agree it's a great Movie though it can be depressing, well most war movies are.

No, It was one of the few films that I missed while there were in theaters. I will be watching it tonight, since I was just too busy last night to find some time to start watching it.

Just finished watching it, and it was excellent film. Great cinematography, excellent sets and battle pieces, and I liked the story and actors. Very sad, and war shown not like fun thing, but very scary and horrible. It was also extremely violent, and showed the horrors of war the way they are, and hiding the details. Damn, When that guy got hit by rocket, and it just stuck in him....

And, my dvd also freezed in 2 spots during the play. Must be a printing error. Hopefully they will fix it in new prints.

I heard there will be a special ed dvd set coming out sometimes later this year, so I will wait for that one to get.

Definately, one of the best films I seen lately.

Yea... I love the lighting and the atmosphere of the movie...

And that rocket... yeck. Worse though... the leg.

If both your discs freezed twice during the movie, then it's likely just when the player is changing layers.

Well, I don't think so. These 2 times were more of the screen freeze/pause, and not just a short slowdown/pause that happen with the usual layer change.

I'm pretty sure, its a writing fault on the disk, and hopefully it will be fixed.
