What Are You Listening to? Part 2

I keep trying to give it a chance, but it's missing the great melodies and incredible range of singing that made both Deja Entandu awesome and Devil and God absolutely amazing.

The heavy use of distortion on the guitars and crappy screaming just isn't fitting for the band.

I will agree that You Stole and At the Bottom are the best on the album, and if the rest of the CD was as good I'd love it.

EDIT: Bed and Noro are also decent songs. Seriously, it's not that it's a terrible album, it's just the worst album that they've made, and it's disappointing to hear them taking such a big step backwards.

Sink is a really cool song, the little interlude in the middle is really cool.

I'm sure it's not just me, that song and a few others it sounds really Modest Mousey.

am I the only one that likes the guitar tone of JET, but would rather the singer go away?

video is kind of worth watching for the lion woman riding around on her bike

I don't actually mind Jet all that much. Singer's not my favorite, he's appropriate, though.

Jet is a victim of overexposure. I'd probably like them if they weren't beat into my head whenever I turn on the radio, see a commercial, or walk into a restaurant.

I barely know them outside of one or maybe 2 songs, and I am lukewarm to them.
