"Hell, I'd still hit it!" pretty much sums up my thoughts exactly.
It looks a little rough around the edges, but I've waited sooo damn long for a properly made new Duke that I don't care.
I'm just glad it's coming out at all.
It looks like what I'd want/expect a new Duke to look like.

I like how in the middle of the video they have the word "fucking" on screen in huge bold letters but at the end they bleep him saying the same word.
I'm sure that same consistency will shine through in the game.
They'll show a dick but bleep anyone saying the word "dick".
"We're fucking bringing it". Cool.
Sure the Unreal 2 derived engine (hopefully heavily modified) may be a bit dated, but this looks good enough and definitely better than Duke Nukem Never. I'm looking at either 360 or PS3 for this one.
Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)
It's Unreal 2.5, the same engine used by BioShock and a lot of other early current gen games. It looks good enough to me.
No older than like '06, from what I understand, and most of them from the last couple years. The fact that PC gaming has been slowed to maintain console portability actually keeps this thing looking pretty current. They got a little lucky in that regard.
Honestly I think the humor and style of the game are probably more dated than the graphics, but that might turn out to lend a kind of campy retro appeal. We'll see. I think I'm done being cynical of this now that it's almost done and Broussard is no longer there to fuck things up.
