I've seen some pretty impressive homebrew on the Lynx. I like sprites as much as anyone, but not when they're deliberately ugly and basic. Legend of Princess is a good example of how to do it right.

  2. Was there ever anything else to Legend of Princess beyond the demo? Hell of a pretty game. (On that same score, the creator of that game has made some very stripped down games as well.)

I find that TNL/et.al. are a good filter for these things; there are hundreds of new indy games running around at any given time, but you only really hear about the tip-top stuff. Sonic the Hedgehog Fartjump Spriterip Bonanza 2011 doesn't really get a lot of play here.

  3. Just the demo, unfortunately.

Anyway, is it safe to assume that if my PC can run Bioshock, then this game shouldn't be a problem?

No one has the time to gush over that bullshit.

  7. I bet they did it on purpose, just one more delay.

  8. I have to say, that was the most clever delay I've ever witnessed. I wish more delays were done that way instead of just reading about it.

  9. I am pot-committed.
