There are Sony fans before the playstation. My friend will buy anything Sony.... TV, walkman, receivers, whatever... But even he did not buy a PS3 (yet).

I hate that silly Sony mentality. Everything I've owned that Sony made broke within two years, Playstations included. My PSX and PS2 still work, but the damned things act up all the time.

My old Sony pojection TV ate it for the 2nd time a few weeks ago. Put it on the curb after that last trick. 10 years old I think.

I think they put out some good content on the PS2 and they have improved every generation so I actually have high hopes this gen.
