I had no idea just how large they were. I always thought they were like Nextech or something.
I'm not sure why anybody would be outraged by such a smart business model.

They do appeared credited in the manuals for Final Fantasy Anthology/Chronicles, so they aren't exactly unrecognized for their work. They're just really obscure.
Also, I'm not entirely conviced they did Resident Evil 0 by themselves. IIRC, it was done by Capcom Studio 3. Most likely Tose probably did grunt work or perhaps they were doing the cancelled N64 version and still got credited for their work.
If they did though, it would explain why Zero and Cove: Veronica are the weakest RE games made.
