Yes, I blame them. I don't want old ass tech holding us back. That's why I am angry that GoW2 is on PS2 and that's why I am angry that the Wii is allowed to exist.

but what they did was save the industry. had they not strong armed companies there would have been a second crash......or even more extreme, not have revitalized the industry in the first place.

Yep. The PS2 will be my primary console for 2007, and maybe beyond. I don't want three systems, don't want a PS3 at these prices, and don't want to throw away my PS1/2 library. I suspect many others will be doing the same.

Substitute that for a 360 and your dead on correct. Not being a fanboy here, but that looks like what's happening. The haters need to face it, the 360 is delivering on all fronts and the momentum is still building, even after the mighty PS3 launch.

Maybe PS3 will have it's shit together sometime, but for now (and at least the next year) it doesn't. And by shit together, I mean having a competitive advantage against the competition.
