Pretty much sums up the root cause.
I can't really fathom this. It's just hard to wrap my head around this whole fiasco. When did we collectively lose our common sense? When did anything with batteries become a bomb? When did anything we don't understand become dangerous?
It's no one's fault but Boston's for 'spending' a half million (in the same way that the music industry loses trillions a year to pirates) but Boston's. They couldn't take a step back and examine the situation and critically think.
Poor advertising guy. If I were him, I'd rise Johnny Cochran from the grave and sue the everliving shit out of Boston and Turner Broadcasting (for making him the scapegoat).
