My GF got me this game for my birthday last year and I played it all of maybe ten times.

It isn't bad, just a bit underwhelming. And it sucks that the lock-on/curly lazer got gimped.

So's Psyvariar, but XS ran in to trouble when they tried to localize that as well. Although, they did get Shiki 2 over here. Sony probably did give them some crap, but like WD, I gotta wonder how much of this was their own fault.

It's not longer XS publishing Red Star, but rather Jack of All Games. I'm pretty sure that was the XS parent company anyway, so no big deal.
