She's trying too damn hard to be offensive and make people go "OMG I can't believe she said that!!!!" It really isn't all that funny. It's like this show is just an excuse for her to say Vagina as many times as she can because she thinks the word makes people feel uncomfortable.
It's all in the timing, and I think she has a great sense, there. Also, I don't think it's so much that she's trying to be offensive as much as establishing a character that's ignorant in a funny way.

Isn't that kinda what you do on TNL? No offense, 'cause it's often funny. And I also like Roseanne.
I liked the first episode. I don't think I actually lol'd at all, but it was pleasantly entertaining the whole way through.
