seems like the same thing as Abobe Lightroom (also $299), which so far has been very good for me. if you can get Apples version for $100+ less i don't see why not.
have any of you guys got experience with aperture? With apple now giving me a $100 gift certificate for purchasing an iphone early, i can practically get it for cheap on my school campus. Any good?

Went to the House of Blues in Cleveland Saturday night for a show that had Amber Pacific, Sum 41, Monty Are I and Yellowcard. Monty Are I stole the show when they had the Castlevania Theme in the backgound of their one song "Castle Bound". Awesome little venue. Looking foreward to going back there in the future. Here's some of the better pics i got off. Keep in mind i was on the balcony level (at least 75-100 ft away) with my stock lens.

ive got a ton of new pictures but just resizing and uploading DESTROYS the color, any specific programs or settings you guys can suggest to keep the maximum color and detail?
also where to upload.
it was a technical shoot, using frame divisions and having to use lines

and who's the girl?
normally when i resize stuff i have a habit to duplicate the layer. set the blending mode to overlay and then notch that layers opacity to about 50% or less. tends to make the colors pop a bit more. a quicker and dirtier way of going into levels and stuff.
i use tiny pic to upload stuff for here.

Just got the thumbs up from the TA. All these shots are part of a photo notebook due for my Language Of Film class. None of these pictures are representative of the color on the Masters though, because picasa and everywhere else sucks.
