Those are awesome.

I really like the black and white of the train tracks. Do you live in the old west or something?
If her lived in the old west it would be sepia toned.
Loved the stoppage of motion in this one (especially the ice spray), but the action was all the way down on the other side of the ice and had to be shot at f/5.6 at 6400 so there was a ton of noise and cropping it down quite a bit didn't help either. Just toyed around with it to try and get something interesting out of it. I don't really like the vignetting. I wanted the edges to be dark and the skaters to be well lit, I need to work on that part. Maybe just darken the top and bottom portions but leave the center and left and right sides well lit.
How do you do vignetting? I have a hard time creating a vignette I really like, even if I have a photo I think would work well with it--it just doesn't look that good if it looks faked, and when I'm faking it it usually looks it.
There is definitely a way to do it in PS, but I haven't really explored it much. n raw, there is a way to correct lens vignetting, whether it is dark in the corners or too light. The great thing about this lens vignetting is you can use it to add either light or dark vignetting to an image and it looks pretty much perfect. For this image I tried to add a bit more cause I didn't want it to look like a perfect oval.
I'm not sure if this image is going to work. Waaaaay too noisy, and even with noise reduction, it is bad. All the detail is just gone.
Does anyone use a Canon EOS? I just started messing with the Picture Style Editor. I thought we could swap presets if you had them.

I have't used it, but I'll look around to see if I can find any good presets for you.
