Drove along the Rio Grande today to photograph people rafting the rapids. I was able to find some great spots to take pictures from. The entire set can be viewed at http://www.flickr.com/photos/erik_un...7626918566204/.
Wildfire just northeast of Santa Fe. Tried to get up close to get some cool photos, but the fuzz and firefighters wouldn't let me close, got some cool photos from as close as I could though.
Went to the Santa Fe Rodeo with some friends last night and brought the camera and big lens (before it broke). I got some really great stuff and had a blast shooting it. The whole set is at http://www.flickr.com/photos/erik_un...7627052303304/.
The class I am assisting this week had a model shoot at this place called Dwan Light Sanctuary, just outside of Las Vegas NM. The place was pretty cool, the models were gorgeous, and in between participant rotations, I was able to take a few photos for myself. I didn't have a whole lot of time, but enough to grab a few photos I likes. My post was geared toward either high key B&W, high key color, or warm and/or soft. Something that might be geared towards a glamor or fashion magazine, so these won't be for everyone. Just having fun with the opportunity to shoot with professional models.

Went out to do some star photography with a friend tonight. Got a few good shots of the Milky Way, but one of my favorites of the night was when I was done and decided to mess around with long exposure and out of focus shots of my friend using the tripod. While she was taking photos, I'd just try holding the camera as still as possible but with the intent of it being somewhat abstract. This one was my first attempt and is actually my favorite of the bunch.
