Yeah, the original was shot as a horror/comedy while this was all pastel ghost comedy.

Why did the possessed guy at the end create the stilts Uncle Sam ghost to control the ghost army when he was just doing it himself before? How is getting tossed around killing and/or knocking out the ghosts? Guess you don't need traps anymore. If ghost guy can control an army, why can't he control 4 more people? Why did the building rebuild itself at the end? The portal didn't break it apart, the growing logo did later on.

I wish this was a better movie.

I always felt that that was out of place with the rest of the movie. At least it's just a dream sequence and not something that happened.

Speaking of montages, this movie totally forgot about the one where the Ghostbusters became popular by actually doing things and maybe growing their Youtube channel, etc. They caught 1 ghost the whole damn movie.

I guess it is passe to do montages in Hollywood now.

IMO, I think it was a missed opportunity for some girl power. They could have had a cool song and footage showing them get awesome at their jobs.



This, I don't know. They never sold me on them being good at their jobs. They caught like 3 ghosts maybe? Then they beat the big bad guy by shooting him in the balls?

I think it might have actually done better as a tv show under a different director.
