if this new movie does happen I really hope it turns out well, the Ghostbusters are one of my most favorite things ever. Seeing a CGI version wouldn't bother me at all, especially if it turned out like TMNT did. that movie really surprised me, so im all for a new flick no matter what style they choose

Judd Apatow directing the new Ghostbusters: Confirmed. It's official now, instead of rumored.

Say what you will, I know there are a lot of Apatow haters here, but there is no one else I'd like to see direct this movie other than him (or Ramis, obviously). So I think that's good news. Can't wait to see who the new cast is, though given Apatow is directing it, I'm sure we can guess who will most likely be in the cast.

I read that his production company was doing it, not that he was directing.

I saw Blues Brothers 2000 in theaters and enjoyed the hell out of it.

Then I went and bought the soundtrack.

I'd like to go ahead and apologize for that.
