Thinking of places for vacation

Not that type of probation. Work probation since I'm a new hire.

Take as long as you can. There will be plenty to fill up however long you have and you may as well get the most of it.

2 weeks is probably max I can take at one time but will have to check with supervisor if she'll let me. But just wanted to know if 1 week would be more than enough time to do everything if not majority of stuff. I know going to Asia will require 2 weeks as 2 days of the 7 days is on plane..leaving only 5 days to do things.

With 7 days you can do Rome and Florence, although maybe a bit rushed. I would add destinations with more time, like Paris or London if you add a second week. Then you'll have four or five days per city, which gives you enough time to see the main attractions.

I always like to do as much as i can on vacation, and I usually get home more tired than when I left. You'll have to think about how hectic you want your time there to be when deciding which and how many places to go to.

If you plan on using hostels make sure you research before hand. Some will require a reservation, others will just take people first come first serve, in which case you need to be there early to guarantee a spot. I got stuck having to use an expensive hotel one night.

I let my gf do all the planning. Yea, I dont think we want to be too rushed. We also have to see when her cousin plans on going back to the Philippines or if there is a family get-together planned. If not, we're probably leaning towards Japan or Europe.

I'd say go with either Japan or Italy.

If Japan I say skip Tokyo and hit up the Kansai region instead. Kyoto, Osaka and Nara are the places to go.

If Italy then you have to go to Florence, it's amazing. Probably stop in Rome for a bit too.

going back and rereading his post helps. i thought he said buy drugs and do a road trip IN vw. totally blocked out the "a". so i thought originally he meant to get fucked up and wander west virginia and he just juxtaposed the letters.
