The saddest thing about these releases is that the torrent of Final Fantasy remakes is still not over...

didn't see a thread for ff5a so i thought i'd put the 2 in one. anyway, i STILL haven't picked up ff5a (pretty damn broke lately) but i'll probably get my hands on it soon. i really wasn't interested in picking up 6 'cause i played through it maybe a dozen times back on the snes. as the release date gets closer though, i think i may have to change my mind. anyone else plan on picking up 6 when it's released? i know the one thing i'm really woried about is the music suffering but...i'll do my best to overlook it if it's not too bad and just enjoy playing the game again.

VI is tomorrow. :F I'll have a hard time not picking it up when i see it. There's something magical about the SNES FF's.

Picked up V a month ago. Played it ten minutes and realized just how much I loved the sound in the SNES version, haven't touched it since. *-neo
REMAKE THE GAME I CARE ABOUT YOU MOTHER FUCKERS!
VII with sprites or no deal.

This actually troubles me a great deal about VI. I don't know how badly the music is messed up, and I'd be pretty crushed if it's not good. I can't imagine it's awful, really, but I'm probably going to wait until someone else I know picks it up. I will get this, though. Still my favorite 16 bit FF, and the only one I'm going to pick up at full price.
From somewhere else.
It's great to have this all portable-like, but man, the music. It sounds like it's being played on a slightly-too-slow turntable. Underwater. Oh, TOSE, will you ever find happiness?![]()

I think I'll just stick with FF Anthology that I bought back in high school and not give Squaresoft anymore money until they make something interesting.
