We get it, you're okay with far too many things being left unresolved (and just bad television regardless) - LET GO & MOVE ON.

  2. seriously Aren, i have loved watching this show for many years but I'm not going to sit here and say that this season placed ontop of the other five seasons sense in the writing. There are so many things that we were made/directed to care about or have an investment in, and they were never resolved. "Let it go and move on" is all you can do for a show thats over but as far as anyone trying to trash the show... well, people are annoyed and I can't blame them.

I still like the show, I've enjoyed the episodes and the characters but in no way can I say with a straight face that it was all masterplanned which is what was originally claimed by those two fuckfaced writers. Stop being such a LOST apologist.

  3. That big explanation makes no sense. The MIB didn't get Ben to kill Dharma, Richard did - and Richard worked for Jacob.

No, they wrapped up THE SEASON, not the show with that finale.

I will be waiting for Season 7 to actually answer something, imo.

That doesn't make any sense either. Why would Jacob have ordered Richard to have Dharma purged? Jacob's the one that had faith in humanity.

I think the implication is pretty clear that MiB was the one really giving the Others their orders, in Jacob's name. Remember, Christian was in the cabin, and it was confirmed that MiB had body-jacked Christian, so.

Now as to why the real Jacob couldn't simply step in during all that time and said "hey brahs, that ain't me," I've got no earthly clue on that one.

  6. I'm not claiming they had any idea wtf was going on from the start or that it was the perfect ending, but for all the shit they've thrown at us, they did a manageable job wrapping up the show.

I would've loved if they made sense of Walt being special, the cabin, the ashes, etc. but they obviously didn't go in that direction with the way the last season was playing it.

There's news going around that the dvd/blu-ray is going to explain a few things, including something about Walt. And no, I'm not ok with them doing this, just letting you guys know.

  7. From everything I've read the series collection will have an extra disc not included in the 6th season stand alone. Who knows what it is but rumors are so far a prologue or the 2 hour special before the finale. There is no way they can make the extra disc a prologue and have that the only way to get it.

  8. So, I was really into the show the first two seasons. But, I tuned out in the beginning of the fourth when they brought in time travel and I saw it as an opportunity for them to fuck the show completely up and leave loose ends lying every fucking where.

I am avoiding reading this thread for spoilers.

But can you tell me if it is worth picking back up and watching the last three seasons? Did you feel content at the end?

  9. Character wise, sure. Mythos wise, no.

  10. Nope.

There are some really good episodes in seasons 4 and 5, though.
