Just film every scene while the lead actor is taking a huge dump, they should be able to replicate Hayter's tone pretty well then.

I agree with you. Hayter's voice is totally synonymous with Solid Snake.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I wish that Michael Beihn was still young enough to do this.

BTW, Hayter's voice is definitely the embodiment of Solid Snake; I'm not saying he's not iconic, and I couldn't imagine anyone else doing the voice. It's just that every passing game it sounds more and more like he's fighting back a raging prairie dog while recording.
