Thread: Dead Pool 360

  1. My launch system lasted almost exactly one year. The replacement unit from MS -- presumably a refurb -- has been fine.
    "Fiends! Animals! Bastards!"

  2. The system at my apartment was from launch, and I haven't had any problems with it at all. The system at my parents' house was from March '06, and while it hasn't died on me, I did experience some weird on-screen static for a short while.

  3. Got mine February 2006. Locked up twice on Oblivion, once when I was turning on Live when I was playing Burnout Revenge, and got the halo of death once on Battlefield. Turned it off, never had a problem with any of those games since. The only real problem I've ever had with my system long term is that my Live connection is crap. Logs me off anytime there are a lot of people playing. GRRRR!

  4. Bought in April 06 and the only problems I've had are from software hangs/bugs.

  5. If this thread was about Deadpool on 360 then I would have bought one today.

  6. Got it at launch. No problems.
    Boo, Hiss.

  7. So, if I end up having to get a new unit, how do the XBLA downloads work? Do I have to re-authorize and download everything? From what I've heard, you can't just swap the hard drive and have everything work peachy keen, but that could be wrong.

  8. Bought mine in late Feb last year. It kicked the bucket in December, and I got a new one with BB's replacement plan.

iirc the catch is that the XBLA games are tied to your account and the serial number of your 360. I think when you put you HD in the new one, you'll only be able to play your XBLA games if you're system is online. I think you gotta call em up to get that fixed 100%.

I was hoping that was what it was about as well actually.
