What happened to being allowed to pick and choose individual channels for like a dollar or two each like they were touting early on?
Gone forever. Faction is supposed to be playing a lot more punk now.
I am really annoyed they are wasting full time channels on the Greatful Dead while still adding the jam band channel from sirius.
You might as well switch now. Sirius simply doesn't have the bandwidth to pull it off, nor does the MLB contract allow it. The XM hardware is lightyears ahead of Sirius' and XM's satellite setup generaly equals better on-the-go reception. Its pretty obvious now that they are going to push new customers to the XM side of the company and use the Sirius side for TV and supporting the remaning customers.

Gymkata: I mean look at da lil playah woblin his way into our hearts in the sig awwwwwww
As long as Sirius keeps Lithium (24) and Pure Jazz (72), and keeps the commercials away, I could give a shit less how they arrange the rest of the music.

After listening for a bit...
Lithium - god awful. The channel is basically one of the "Best of the 90's!" CD's you see on TV at 3am. Not even close to a replacement for Lucy.
Area - Trash. Trends much closer to house and club no matter how much Sirius tries to claim it's 'trance/progressive'
SXM Chill - lol. XM Chill was one of the best channels I'd ever heard. This channel plays Coldplay as a part of chill. Can't expect it to be a good channel when they don't even understand the genre.
Oh, and Cinemagic is off the air until January 1 to make room for such winners as the all Bruce Springsteen channel and the all Grateful Dead channel.
This is a gigantic shit sandwich.
I don't like this new music channel lineup one fucking bit.

My main reason for XM was Opie and Anthony, but with Brother Wease coming back to the local airwaves on Monday I can listen to him in the morning and acquire O&A and Stern later on in the day for free.
