American Idol: Season 6 *Official Thread*

I thought I would make the thread so everybody could make fun of me like they did last year. This is quickly becoming my favorite "watch with the s/o" show of all time. Eye candy for men and women, brutal yet true comments from Simon, drunk/high Paula, clueless Randy, ambiguously gay Ryan Seacrest. Oh, and singing. I really do like this show and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Anyway, the banter between Simon and Ryan is getting better and better, and the biting inside jokes about both of them are really getting entertaining to watch.

If you missed it, one of the contestants made fun of Simon for producing the Teletubbies album so Simon basically called him fat. It was painfully uncomfortable in the greatest of ways.

I am hoping the girls are better than the guys as only the Seattle beat-box guy did anything worthwhile to me. His singing was good, but the uncomfortable "embrace" with Ryan at the end of it and Ryan's "not now" brush off of the arm around the waist was hilarious. I swear Ryan comes out of the closet this season.

Two of my friends are watching this show and are excited about it. They talk about watching it on TS while we're playing WoW (But I think now it's because they know it annoys me). I am almost convinced this is their secret code phrase for ass sex.

We watched the earlier episodes when they show all the awful auditions. It was hilarious. But now it is just weeding out all the shitty singers to find the few good ones so it is no fun.

The biting comments of Simon/Seacrest was awesome. I watch it when I can. Its entertaining and thats what TV is all about.

Alright, fine. Anyway, this show is great. I don't have to like or buy the music to love the show. Haters will enjoy it if they watch it as well. There is too much hilarious stuff happening to not watch.
