Nothing good can come of this.
I want to see Flash on the silver screen. SOMEONE MAKE IT HAPPEN!
If they get Bruce Timm involved in this in some creative way then i'm set. They can burn all the cash they want.
If they use John Stewart (I'd prefer Hal Jordan, but we all know they gotta have a token minority), I nominate Dennis Haysbert.
After his brilliant voicework in the cartoon and proving he can do live action just fine by being one of the few good consistently good things about Smallville, Michael Rosenbaum MUST be the Flash. Of course, first he MUST get back into Season One Lex shape - those puffy cheeks he's sporting these days may work for Lex, but NOT for Flash.
I'd actually kinda prefer they not tie this into the Batman Begins and Superman Returns continuities - I can't see that version of Batman interacting with actual superpowered characters, and it certainly seemed like Superman was the only one in the world in SR given how people reacted to his absence, return and near-death. Ron Perlman did a great job voicing Batman in the JLA Heroes game, and if they make the decision upfront not to unmask him, they can get away with using a lesser-known actor. As for Superman... I've been saying since before Brian Singer got involved in the franchise that Joaquin Phoenix is Superman Incarnate, and a JLA movie with separate continuity is the perfect opportunity to make it happen.
