Completed system collections

Are there any systems you can proudly say you have all the games you want for it?

I can't, unfortunately. Not by a long shot.

DC is my first priority in terms of wrapping up.

Domestic-wise, I need about a handful.

Project Justice

There might be one or two more.. Ah yes, Giga Wing 2.

But there are at least 10 or more imports I still need... So really, who am I kidding? Better make that 20.



Anyway, what systems have you wrapped up?

Every time I think I've finished a collection, I find a few more titles to buy. The closest I've come is with my Sega CD collection. As soon as I get Keio Flying Squadron I will have acquired all my essential titles. Of course, I'd buy Time Gal or the Lunar games if I found them.

I will probably never finish my Genesis collection, though. There's just too many of them to get. I'll probably complete my DC library before the year is over, but other than that...

For DC I need Street Fighter Alpha 3, Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike, and I need to buy back a few titles I sold early on.
Snes: Demon's Crest, Earthbound
Genesis: Musha, Lightening Force
Saturn: Nights w/3D pad, Guardian Heroes, 4in1 thing
NES: Mega Man 2
I got all I want for my Neo Geo Pocket.
GBA: Advanced Wars, I haven't kept up with anything about GBA, though, I rarely play it
PS: Einhander, FF9

My Odyssey2 and Virtual Boy collections are close to completion.

I can't see myself, ever feeling that I have completed a game collection, for a system.


I have over 70 titles for my Saturn, and there are still a ton of games I wan't for it, highest on the list being Radiant Silvergun.


With my Dreamcast collection near 65 titles, there are just too many great games, that I have yet to own, or play. I do have the maraccas though.


My Super Nintendo is at 40+ titles, and everyone of the domestic releases I have on it, are the AAA titles. There are plenty more, that I wan't, but it will be more luck, than search to get those games I missed.


My 2 Virtual Boys have all but 1 domestic title, that was available in the US. I had Waterworld, but sold it, as I found it to be a complete peice of crap. I will get another though, for collectors sake. I don't know if I want to try getting any of the Japanese games, that were'nt released stateside.


I'm hoping to start getting other titles for my DC, and will then start working towards the other consoles.

Closest:

1. PlayStation - I'll give this one #1 since it's the one I've worked the hardest on and I feel that I'm nearly at the level of "perfection." I've only got about 5-10 more to get, and 5 will be got shortly.

2. Dreamcast - Blame the stunted life, but I'm almost done with this one. Sonic Adventure 2, Skies of Arcadia and possibly Bangai-O remain.

3. N64 - Not quite known for its large library of games, I'm almost complete here as well. Paper Mario, F-Zero X, Wave Race and Sin & Punishment remain to be had. But I know I'll probably put off getting S&P until it's no longer available.

Dreamcast all the way.

I've got right around 90 titles I believe, and I don't feel there is any gaps at all.

I finally picked up House of the Dead II along with a pair of the official Madcatz guns, and that rounded off the collection pretty nicely.

Aside from HotDII the last 5 titles or so I've bought for DC have been all doubles just because I found a great deal on them.

Never have and probably never will, just when I think I have all that I could want another game I didn't know existed pops up that I just must have

So far the only collections I finished was my Dragon Ball and Langrisser game collections, I am 7 games away from a perfect Final Fantasy collection though and my Squaresoft collection is about maybe 2/3 complete.
