I let it run idle for a few days, got really bored of the waiting for cooldowns so I could blast pass bosses in the 150-210 area and used a save file editor to give myself like 45000000000000 hero souls, accidentally over leveled an ancient and when I ascended I killed 5 mobs on level 1 and instantly went to level 10,000 where the boss had KInfinity health.Originally Posted by dave is ok

You're supposed to use ascension when it gets too slow and boring so the next run-up you have more power behind your heroes and can make it even farther. Dragging on a few levels over the course of days is crazy-boring, even by Clicker Heroes standards.
That's what I did. First I hit 140 ascended then hit 160, then ascended and hit 180 but you're only getting like 10-20 souls and meh. I still needed powerups to get past 140 even after two ascensions and then no new heroes on the horizon and I burned out.
It was a cool kill time thing for a few days though!

Insecticide is $0.29 on Steam right now. It's a 3D platformer by former Lucas Arts vets Larry Ahern, Michael Levine and Peter Chan. It was the first part of a failed episodic series (Well, two-parter) that had oodles of charm but never got off the ground. It never got great reviews, but I liked it, and I figured for a quarter, what the hell.

Wondering,even I get my 970, should I upgrade my mobo or my cpu also? I5 4670k. What exactly will I need to upgrade top get the most out of my970
That would most likely be a waste of money. A 4670 is still a solid chip, and most games aren't very CPU bound these days, so you're probably talking real-world perfomance gains of like maybe 2-3 fps by upgrading. With DX12 and Vulkan shifting more of the load onto the video card, that seems unlikely to change any time real soon either. If you're really sweating it, I'd say just pop a decent $50 cooler on there and overclock it a little and that'll pretty much put you even with the new chips.
